Am I missing something about Facebook? I've found it's really good for organising events, chatting with my friends and maybe chatting with a few friends at once. But there seems to be little or no capacity for talking with people I don't know about music and other stuff, which is what forums like this were about. You can start up groups on Facebook, but no 'banter' takes place because the 'forum' part of it is sh*t. The Facebook Indiesoc group is a good example of that, in fact.

yah there is no possibility to talk random musical donkey poo on facebook. and no, you're not missing the point. it's more of a social tool than a conversational thing.

i guess this forum was unlucky in many respects, I see no reason why it should die. I enjoyed many a quality discussion here.

fair play to whoever sorted all that spam out. that was a major step.

Hooray, the spam has gone!

Bring back Indiesoc; as you chaps say, FB is no good for conversation.

I often go to sleep with pyjama bottoms, socks and a t-shirt on. When I awake I am naked. This is a popular phenomenon, known in scientific circles as theft. My family members steal my clothes in the night and sell them down the market. I often walk to work and see kids wearing the clothes that only the night before I was sleeping in. It is a disturbing development.

i'm back. paradise, beyond that methamphetamine haze, i'm sure we spoke about this last week; right before leppard greased his thumb and rectally invaded naomi.

I did say in a similar haze that I would u2u people and I like to keep to my word so I am off to send some u2us old school style.

And with this forum you never got this message..

"Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Normally I wouldn't care but I am trying to procrastinate and avoid learning about the disclosure duty on directors.
